Taumarunui on the main trunk line

Hardly any passenger trains go past Taumarunui now so I Googled to find out why such a lot of train carriages are parked up here. I learned this is a railway limbo, where rolling stock is dumped until it is time to ship it to Africa. Yes, our train legacy is being fire-saled to Africa.

Across the road two songbirds were in full voice with "Wherever you go... "

Time to climb back on the bus. I need a word for the expression I see on friends faces when they learn I use buses. It's a bit pitying, a bit mystified and a lot embarrassed for me! Something like Busfear?
